SERMON SERIES: THE I AM SAYINGS OF JESUS
"I AM the DOOR"
Sunday, February 25 9 and 10:30 am, The Mount and CrossWalk
Doors and gateways allow entry. But they also can be closed for safety and security. Jesus offers us that safety and security - while not demanding our entrance. Instead, Jesus invites and cares.
"I AM the BREAD"
Sunday, March 4, 9 and 10:30 am, The Mount and CrossWalk
Jesus proclaims he is the bread of life - as necessary to sustain life as the manna God gave to the Israelites in the wilderness. He is from God as manna was from God. Too often, we are in faith for the "perks" like the first believers who sought a sign - a parlor trick - so they'd believe.

12:30 Prayer Walk Ligonier
The Ligonier United Methodist Church seeks to be community minded. One way we hope to do that is to pray for our community – for her residents, for her health, for her businesses. Please plan to join us following the Crosswalk service for a lunch provided by our youth followed by a prayer walk.
How do you prayer walk? You may not even need to walk! We will divide the city of Ligonier into communities. Each group will go to one of these communities and then we walk from block to block, praying for the residents. We will pray for their health. We will pray for their families. We will pray they have work. We will pray for their needs. But most of all, we will pray that they come to know our Savior, Jesus Christ, who loves them beyond all imagining!
Team captains who are comfortable with praying out loud will be assigned to each group but anyone can offer a prayer! Children are welcome – a stroller or wagon might be a good idea! And if we find some golf carts, anyone can join in the prayer time even if you can’t walk very far! So if you know of someone who has a golf cart and would allow us to borrow it that day, please let the office know! We’ve invited our Nuevo Principio family to join us in this prayer walk also!
The church is preparing door hangers to let our residents know we’ve prayed for them. Please join us in an offering of prayer for our community on March 18th – and get a great lunch the same day!
Saturday, March 17, 5 – 7 pm, The CrossWalk
If you think you make the best soup or chili this is your opportunity to enter for your chance to win bragging rights and a trophy! All proceeds will go to upcoming youth activities!! If you would like to participate as a contestant, please sign the sign-up sheets located at each building. The entry fee is $20. If you do not want to make soup, please come out and eat! You will have a chance to try all the soups and then vote on which one you think is the best!! You will make a donation in the basket for the best soup.

Men & Women Deodorant
Shampoo & Crème Rinse
You can bring these items to the church office if you prefer, and we will make sure they get to Stone's Hill Church, or you can drop them off there directly.

COFFEE HOUR SIGN UP SHEETS
There are new sign-up sheets for the whole year. We are looking for individuals who might be willing to provide refreshments on a given Sunday. It doesn't have to be elaborate. It could just be cookies and a drink. This provides an opportunity for everyone to stay and get to know one another better.
Practice every Wednesday, 7 pm, The Mount Choir Room
Talk to Jim McFarlin or the church office if you have questions. You can start anytime!
ALCOHOL AWARENESS GROUP
Alcohol Awareness is a group that meets to support families of those who deal with alcohol addiction, as well as those who have the addiction to alcohol. This is a confidential group that meets to pray for one another and allows for a time of sharing. This group will provide a network of support and love and is an outreach of our church that shows our community the grace of Jesus Christ. If you have questions, please contact Dwayne Hass at 260-387-8589.
